The Internet is exciting. Insanely exciting to be exact. Billions of people have spent years writing everything down by hand on paper and then laboriously getting their writings from A to B by mail, the Internet offers the possibility to communicate with almost everyone in the world in real time. This has not only fundamentally changed the general understanding of the concept of globalization, but has also made intercultural communication easier than ever before. If I want to, I can live with strangers, talk to people who live on the other side of the world, trade with the whole world or look at literature that would never be found in the local library. In this series we want to effectively get to the bottom of how to use the Internet for your own purposes as a beginner or young entrepreneur, what things you should consider, what is the most sensible approach and how to ultimately form and run a successful online business.

Every beginning is hard. In fact, the beginning is perceived by many people as a special hurdle, as they do not want to make any mistakes from the very beginning. Every step could cause lasting damage that has long-term effects on later development, and indeed this is partly true. Every action in any complex area, whether it is of a social nature or in our case in a company, has an impact on the development of the company. However, we should quickly abandon the idea that we can make mistakes. In the end, mistakes depend on the definition. In future, we do not want to talk about mistakes, but about learning.

In this series, we want to provide effective knowledge about which procedures will most quickly motivate an online based company to make progress. We'll cover MVP development, user feedback, iteration, pivoting, marketing and of course the idea generation process itself. This series should not be seen as a guide, because every company is different and, contrary to the wishes of some, there is no standard procedure for the millions of variables that come up when starting a business. It could be seen more as a guide and a collection of tips. In the next article in this series we would like to clarify how to start your business and what techniques are available for brainstorming.
